Not HST's but I have carried and shot 124+p Speer gold dots for a few years. I am now taking a look at winchesters 147 bonded ranger. I have heard a lot of people on various forums argue that 147 gr from any of the big 3 is the best bet since 147 gr loses the least % of velocity coming out of a short barrel, and that it will still expand while penetrating further than 124.
